This is a universal replacement ground wire for your distributor. It will fit all 45D distributors as-is, or it can be cut and soldered into place to replace a tattered 22D, 25D or DM2 ground wire found in almost every British car made from 1950-1974.
The construction is a fine grade 350 strand (yes 350 strands!!!) copper wire with solid brass crimped end terminals, designed as original. It is insulated with a soft, ultra-flexible silicon jacket, very similar to spark plug wires. This is an upgrade from the original factory wire with roughly 30 strands of copper wire and a cloth jacket.
